Introduction

Chrome and Edge have updated their policy on handling Web related APIs, it would block the Remote Configuration Center (RCC) working with Qbic device. There are multiple methods can still use the web version RCC, you can select the proper solution as we recommended below:

  1. Use another Web Browser
  2. The new policy has been confirmed applied on Chrome / Edge for version v94, we have also verified that RCC is still working on the current latest Firefox as v90.0.1.

  3. RCC Browser

  5. Disable "Block Insecure private network requests."
  6. Note: Although Qbic RCC does not collect any information or try to access any private IP without permissions of User. There are still some un-safe Website might have some unauthorized background operation. We would recommend to add Firewall to block any risk Webs if you decided to disable it.

    You can follow below steps to disable it:

    1. Input "chrome://flags/#block-insecure-private-network-requests" in URL column.
    2. Select "Disabled" option for "Block Insecure private network requests."
    3. Click on "Relaunch" button to restart the Chrome browser, the RCC will able to work after the configuration is done.
